For the Maldives , fighting the effects of climate change is fighting for its mere existence. Belgium's Université de Liège has partnered with The Maldives National University and Université Paris Cité to create a full curriculum on climate change thanks to Erasmus+ funding!
The program will be open for scholars of the entire region. Common research and exchange of students between all partners are also part of the plan.
With former IPCC Vice Chair Jean-Pascal van Ypersele, Ambassador Vanderhasselt joined the Research Workshop held in capital Malé.
