Bio:
Mariyam Nashath, graduated from University of Western Australia, Australia with a bachelor of Science (Zoology) and completed her Masters in Applied Marine Science from
The University of Plymouth, United Kingdom. At present she is working as a senior lecturer at the Maldives National University, Faculty of Science , Engineering and Technology (FEST).
She has been teaching marine science and environment modules to Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Environmental Management, Bachelor of Marine Science and Bachelor of Teaching Science Courses.
She had supervised three undergraduate research students and one masters research student, who had successfully graduated.
Her research interest includes fisheries biology, fisheries management, climate science, marine pollution, integrated coastal zone management and marine systems science.
